The Community Council of Letymbou, within the efforts to improve
the quality of life of the habitants and the development of
the community, has executed some infrastructure works.
The most important works, which
have been done, are the following:

Construction of new perforation with potable
water, which has solved the water supply problem. |
| 2. |
Replacement of the old water distribution and supply
system. |
| 3. |
Creation of a new park, which includes: green spaces,
benches and playground. The old traditional taps, the
olive oil press and the pressing were restored and taken
in the park. |
| 4. |
Road widening in the community. |
| 5. |
Asphalt course of all the roads of the village. |
| 6. |
Repair of rural roads. |
The Community Council continues
the efforts to make the community a modern and pleasant place,
and for this reason, it has already programmed the following
projects:
| 1. |
Conversion of the
old elementary school in new buildings which will include
offices for the needs of the Community Council, an event
hall, museum which will have old tools of the inhabitants,
and a restaurant. Conversion of the old kindergarten in
a home for the elderly, which will provide food and care,
and in a medical private practice. Many events will take
place in the yard, which will be paved with slabs. The
old public toilettes will be demolished and new toilettes
will be built. |

Construction of a new cemetery
next to the old one. |

A levee project is also programmed
in the area of “Mesa Gitonia”. |
| 4. |
Asphalt course of the road that
leads to the main bore of the village (4 km long). |
